How it works

Three steps to your first roll

  1. The red kit laid out on slate
    01

    Prep the rice and fillings

Cook short-grain rice, season it with rice vinegar, sugar and salt, and let it cool. Slice your fillings with the knife and cutters.

  2. A roll pushed out of the red sushi bazooka
    02

    Load the sushi bazooka

Oil the inside, fill both halves with rice, press a channel down the middle, lay in your fillings and snap it shut.

  3. The sushi knife with its red wood-grain handle, red chopsticks, lucky cat rests and the red sushi bazooka
    03

    Roll and slice

Push the roll out onto a sheet of nori, wrap it up, and slice with a wet knife. Or roll by hand on the bamboo mat.
